Unlike the field of medicine where the science is supported by a long history of rigorous and replicated observations, the practice of management is still in the early stages of research. Management theory is often presented as a collection of competing models and opinions that strain credibility in a dramatically changing world.
In this lecture, Dr Fernando Flores, an author, entrepreneur and a leading expert on innovation and education, analysed how humans create actions and possibilities. He also introduced a theory of language and explained how it influences the coordination of action, the cultivation of public identity, the management of moods, and the development of alliances and trust. Through historical and present-day examples, he showed how successful education in the future would work.
