Eric Fesselmeyer

Eric Fesselmeyer is Associate Professor of Economics (Education) at the College of Integrative Studies at the Singapore Management University. His research focuses on environmental and urban economics, with particular interests in housing markets, urban density, climate and temperature impacts, and the relationship between the built environment and economic activity. His work has examined topics including urban heat and residential sorting, housing prices and density in Singapore, the effects of temperature on productivity, and the economic value of green certification. He teaches courses such as Economics & Society, Real Estate Economics, and Big Questions: Wealth and Poverty.
