His research focuses on Classical and Quantum Optimization, Artificial Intelligence and its Applications, Urban Computing & Smart City, Supply Chain Resiliency and Digital Transformation through AI.

“We don't necessarily worry about predicting specific types of incidents, like we're not trying to predict exactly where a murder will happen or exactly where a robbery will happen. We're just trying to predict how much time and police resources (manpower) an incident is going to take up so that we can plan accordingly. So this is what the machine learning model is going to do for us.”
